The RJ Management company also runs Black Wolf Records which initially partnered with nationally acclaimed singer songwriter Ellis Paul, then other artists*, to create a catalog of music, visual media and book releases. The philosophy is indie and fiercely independent with global reach in mind for our artists. The goal is to dedicate building lasting careers, focusing on working hard and doing things the right way for the right reasons. Our years of experience benefit our roster of clients as they build their careers via realistic strategies for successful releases, tours, publishing, press and promotional campaigns.
Ralph Jaccodine began his career in music as a musician and concert promoter in Allentown, PA. and then as the concert director at the University of Notre Dame. He has worked with artists such as: Bruce Springsteen, Kiss, Rush, Hall and Oates, Doobie Brothers, Todd Rungren, Kansas, Styx, Livingston Taylor and others. After running his own downtown Boston commercial real estate company for 12 years, he joined Mike Dreese, the co-founder of Newbury Comics, one of the nation’s leading retail music chains, in starting Black Wolf Records, an independent record label.
In 1992 he started Ralph Jaccodine Management guiding the career of songwriter Ellis Paul, and then expanded the business working with artists including: Livingston Taylor,Shun Ng, Rebecca Loebe, Martin Sexton, The Push Stars, Flynn, Antje Duvekot, The Adam Ezra Group, Johnny A, Works Progress Administration (Glen Phillips, Sean Watkins & Luke Bulla), Vinx, Averi, Bang Camaro, Amy Black and Susan Cattaneo.
Ralph is the co-founder of the Boston Management Group, a professional organization started 30 years ago with Tim Collins, the longtime manager of Aerosmith. Hehas been active on various boards of directors including International Folk Alliance, Club Passim, Right Turn and The Hope Collaborative, and his is on the advisory board of WUMB, Music to Life, and has worked with Ernie Boch Jr’s ‘Music Drives Us‘ Foundation.
For 9 years he has taught in the Business/Management Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, the nation’s top college for music. He is the recipient of the 2015 Dean’s Award for Innovation and Service at Berklee and a member of Berklee College of Music’s Music + Health Initiative.
He is a frequent speaker at industry events such as: Folk Alliance International, SXSW, CMJ, The American Music Conference, Berklee’s Re-Think Music Conference and the Eagles Leadership Conference in Singapore as well as speaking at Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University, Harvard University, Emerson College, Tufts University, Singapore Polytechnic , UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and others. He is a proud father of two college students and is happy living a vigorous, yet contemplative life.

Hope Collaborative is a Massachusetts 501(c)(3) non profit organization with a mission to make outstanding leadership development a standard for kids and teens living in poverty. Our program is arts-integrated, student-driven and team-focused. We provide our partner sites–both school and after-school programs–with expert facilitators, curriculum, technology access and support they need to implement world-class programs.
