The summit focused on the critical challenges humanity faces educating people living in under-resourced and under-served regions.

Vimukhti School

The slums of Jaipur suffer from various socio-economic problems which are intensified by the continued migration of poor families from rural areas. The living conditions, health & sanitation are of abysmally low levels. The slum population also faces a high level of social ills like drug abuse and crime against women.

Vimukti Girls School brings quality education to kids and teens who need it most. Hope Collaborative partnered with Vimukthi to provide its world-class curriculum and leadership development programming for motivated kids excited to build fantastic impact and bright futures.

Spiritan School, Nigeria

Aspiring leaders at the Spiritan School in Nigeria participate in the Hope Collaborative leadership development program.

While our home office is in the USA, we enjoy a close partnership with friends in Nigeria.  They get support from our program staff online and access curriculum materials through our digital gateways.  Hope transcends barriers of geography and build communities of leadership around the world.

Malik Academy

Located at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, Malik Academy ​prepares students for future success by integrating a love for and understanding of Islam into all areas of academic development, social interaction, personal growth, positive values and moral behavior.

​Hope Collaborative extends leadership training to these young boys and girls, ages 12 and up.

Family Life Academy

Family Life Academy Charter Schools in the Bronx, New York and its parent organization LPAC, have served disadvantaged, low-income families and youth for over 40 years in one of the poorest zip codes in the United States.

From hope and self confidence, and with the guidance of exceptional mentors, students participating in the Hope Collaborative program are finding their voice—identifying as leaders—and blazing new trails uniquely their own.

Presidency High School

Located near Nizamabad in the state of Telangana, India, Presidency High School is one of the most prestigious schools in the district serving students in grades 1-10.

The Presidency High School may be oceans away from our home office in the USA. Through our digital gateway and support via the internet we extend the Hope Collaborative leadership development program to friends near and far.

Boys and Girls Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester, Massachusetts serves the local community with clubhouses and activities and groups for children and teens. Their outstanding facilities support a variety of sports, filmmaking, music recording, visual arts, computer access and more.

Friends of the Children

Friends of the Children Boston creates generational change by engaging children from high risk communities in 12 years of transformative mentoring relationships. Their model of at-risk youth development is a proven transformational approach.

Students participate in the Hope Collaborative program and demonstrate how youth in their community can be insightful emerging leaders of tomorrow.

Africa Girl Child Advocacy Network

The Africa Girl Child Advocacy Network is a girl child advocacy organization in empowering girls in Africa.  The girl child empowerment model is replicated all over Africa
by every one inspired to take leadership in gender equality at the community level. 

Hope Collaborative believes in empowering women of all ages.  Girls in Sierra Leone are developing leadership skills utilizing our digital gateway and on-line services to get support from our home office miles away in the USA.

Diller Teen Fellows

Diller Teen Fellows is an immersive leadership program inviting a select group of Jewish 10th and 11th graders from 6 continents to step up, lead their communities, and repair the world.  

Teens from Haifa, Israel joined their compatriots at a Jewish Community Center in Newton, Massachusetts USA and developed their leadership skills with Hope Collaborative.  These photos represent new friends for the Hope program— and the energy and vision of youth.

A Summer Evening with Livingston Taylor

The Hope Collaborative Benefit concert with Livingston Taylor at the Oakley Country Club was a thrilling success! The ballroom was filled with Hope friends, supporters, warm support, and stories of grace and leadership from around the Hope network. Livingston’s music riveted the audience. New songs and classic hits brought his wisdom and signature gentleman songwriter’s worldview to a sold-out audience. His ringing guitar stylings and lyrical melodic approaches opened songs to new vistas. The evening brought stories of Hope and Leadership with participating kids transforming and driving change in the neighborhoods.

Berklee Holiday Concert with Ellis Paul

Hope Collaborative hosted a special event at the Berklee College School of Music. We proudly presented Ellis Paul to our audiences who is one of the pre-eminent acoustic songwriters and performers working in America today.

With some three decades on the road–and over 10 original albums, Ellis has won honors and accolades around the world for his artistry and talent.  Ellis played an exciting acoustic set–followed by a discussion session focusing on “The Art and Soul of Songwriting as a Teen.”

An Afternoon at Passim Cultural Center

We partnered with our friends at Cambridge’s Passim Cultural Center  to present kids and families with Shun and All Stars, to share their program, “Overcoming the Hardships of Growing Up Through Music.” 

Kids and teens, staff, families, and friends experienced an extraordinary afternoon in the heart of Harvard Square.

Hope at House of Blues: Blues School House

The House of Blues in Boston graciously partnered with Hope Collaborative to offer a fantastic musical event for kids and their families, teachers, and more.  Blues SchoolHouse is a free, fun, interactive high-energy music review for all ages featuring the history of blues and rock–and the music of Michael Jackson, Queen Latifah, John Mayer, and Stevie Wonder–and many more. Programming centers around the “History of the Blues – From the Delta to Soul, Rock and Rap!”

Spotlights on our Emerging Leaders

Conflict Resolution with Malik Academy
Hope Collaborative joins students in grades 6-8 at Malik Academy (located at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury) for our Conflict Resolution learning module. 

Working with teachers and administrators to integrate our leadership programming into the school day, we are very excited about the opportunity to engage with such a focused and energetic community of learners. Many students at Malik Academy are first and second generation immigrants from Middle Eastern and North African families, who bring their unique stories and perspectives to our diverse community!
Conflict Resolution Program with Friends of the Children
​A group of talented and insightful teenagers, known as “Achievers” at the innovative and nationally-recognized mentoring organization Friends of the Children – Boston, were hard at work with us in our module on Conflict Resolution.

The cohort includes a diverse group of youth from some of Boston’s most economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. ​
