Homes for Families is a statewide hub for families, shelter providers, housing agencies, and legislators with the shared vision of improved conditions around family homelessness.
We look at people in the context of their circumstances. We recognize and honor their experiences, knowledge, strengths, aspirations, and ability to overcome adversity.
We demystify the political process and identify opportunities for families, providers, and other allies to advocate for ending family homelessness.
18,471 people in Massachusetts experienced homelessness during the January 2019 point-in-time count. (data from mahomeless.org)
Each year, Homes for Families brings together over 400 members of the community to develop an annual policy agenda around homelessness and housing equity.
